The seminar aimed at building the teachers’ capacity. It focused on two main areas: professional morals and ethical questions in a school as well as teaching methods, both being indispensable for the development of the teachers. Mr Albini held high-level presentations and workshops on both days, during which the teachers could become familiar with a new way of thinking that requires the complete reform of their previous teaching methods and practices. After joint elaboration, the “form master's class” was also introduced, a type of class that had been unknown before in DR Congo. Teachers all assessed the training as a very positive experience. They also received a certificate of participation.
