We try to lend a helping hand to as many African children and families in need as possible and to provide them with an efficient, cross-sectoral and sustainable assistance. Beside our projects on the ground, we also organise a number of presentations and programmes in Hungary so that everyone can discover the cultural and natural values of the African continent. Dear Supporters, Readers!
We would like to report the palatial evening that was in budapest Sas Centum Restaurant on March 29 supported by Qatar Airways.
The evening's main theme was humanitarian tourism, and our endowment introduced itself as well. The event could happen with
the professional orgianization of the Carlson Wagonlit Magyarország and Afrikáért Alpítvány. We would like to thank the main
organizer and sponsor Qatar Airways for the multi-faceted and effective praparation and liquidation.
On behalf of Afrikáért Alapítvány France Mutombo delivered an interesting and informative speech about humanitarian tourism,
as unique opportunity, that combines the values of humanity with the joy of travelling. Two of our humanitarian tourists spoke as well,
Lídia and Zsolt, who shared their experiences by a slideshow.
During the evening the Konono dance ensemble made a pleasant and autentic african drum and singing show. As a closure of the
program, tombola prizes were drawn, offered by our endowment and Quatar Airways.
The whole event spent in a real african mood, with special meals also from the black continent. The success of the
night were shown by the cooperational opportunities between the presented firms, which oppurtunities we hope will
fulfil soon.
