We try to lend a helping hand to as many African children and families in need as possible and to provide them with an efficient, cross-sectoral and sustainable assistance. Beside our projects on the ground, we also organise a number of presentations and programmes in Hungary so that everyone can discover the cultural and natural values of the African continent. We try to reach as great a public as possible, inform it about our work and win over new and new supporters for our cause. You can find updates on our projects and events by surfing the News.

Black Christmas – A traveller’s account in Cegléd
In the Calvinist congregational house, a Cegléd-born volunteer of the Foundation for Africa delivered a personal account of how Christmas is celebrated on the Black Continent. It was not the first time Lídia Füle had travelled to the small village on the border between Tanzania and Kenya since the volunteers of our Foundation make regular journeys to Africa so as to help those living there with manual work in addition to the donations sent. So, Lídia returned to the orphans. Foundation of Africa has operated an orphanage and and a school for years in Congo and there’s a sister organization of this institution in the small Masai village where Lídia spent Christmas.
