Beside our projects on the ground, we also organise a number of presentations and programmes in Hungary so that everyone can discover the cultural and natural values of the African continent. Since September the talented students of the Lauder school were practicing to perform their play titled Tshibawu, “the unbreakable law” in three locations, namely in the school of the city of Bőcs, Berettyóújfalu and Ózd in December.

The story in brief: Karaba, the creator of the unbreakable laws and his mother are dominating the population of Garamamende living in the deep forest. The laws are the following: do not remember, do not dream, do not celebrate, expect nothing from anybody, just work. The people wearing all grey, because colours, symbolising their emotions disappeared from their lives. But Liza, who still dare to dream and remember upsets Karaba who therefore chase her away from the village. Liza and a stranger are starting a journey in order to find the colours missing in the forest, set free the morkoks and finally get the yellow, blue and red crystals. The two adventurer are breaking Karaba's power, so the colours are returning to the lives of Garamamende's residents who even forgive the Queen of the unbreakable law.

After the play the participating students discussed the moral of the performance and get to know each other. During the first meeting the students were a little bit shy, but there was a very good atmosphere.

We would like to thank the preparing teachers Judit and Gabor for their persistent work, and also say thank you to Paulo for the background music.
