We try to lend a helping hand to as many African children and families in need as possible and to provide them with an efficient, cross-sectoral and sustainable assistance. Beside our projects on the ground, we also organise a number of presentations and programmes in Hungary so that everyone can discover the cultural and natural values of the African continent. We try to reach as great a public as possible, inform it about our work and win over new and new supporters for our cause. You can find updates on our projects and events by surfing the News.

In 2008, La Providence started to host 11 orphans when Israel was only 4 years old. He and his peers got a chance to receive proper education thanks to our Hungarian supporters. The young boy now starts the first class of high school at College Othniel since the primary education lasts for only 6 years in Congo, followed by another 6 years in high school.
Israel is a little shy and silent boy, but everybody loves him because he is very smiley and smart. As the youngest member of the La Providence family, he has to learn how to defend himself on his own. He is much stronger than he thinks and he will probably gain more confidence as he grows older.
Nevertheless, he is one of the most even-tempered children who we host. He is always happy, very friendly and a true winner type. He loves to play football in his free-time and he gets along with older children and peers as well.

We are very grateful to our supporters, who make it possible to provide a good environment to grow and to learn for the Congolese children in need.

Helping in privilege!
