We try to lend a helping hand to as many African children and families in need as possible and to provide them with an efficient, cross-sectoral and sustainable assistance. Beside our projects on the ground, we also organise a number of presentations and programmes in Hungary so that everyone can discover the cultural and natural values of the African continent. We try to reach as great a public as possible, inform it about our work and win over new and new supporters for our cause. You can find updates on our projects and events by surfing the News.

The Hunfalvy János Bilingual Secondary Vocational School of Economics and Trade of BGSZC turned to our Foundation with a new and exciting idea in 2010. They meant to help us by their own fundraising methods, which were invented by the students themselves. The project proved to be so successful that our colleagues started considering this idea. After a longer planning period the Foundation for Africa worked out the HID movement, HID is the abbreviation of Humanitarian Schools and Students for Africa.

In 2013 the students of Hunfalvy adopted Matondo Nzita virtually, one of the students of our Congolese school, College Othniel. The Hungarian students have been contributing regularly to the studies and developments of Congolese students for more than two years.

The students of Hunfalvy prepared delicious foods and cakes, and then released their own merchandise for sale within the framework of a special school buffet. The income of the buffet was offered for Matondo’s education through "Adopt a child!" system of the Foundation for Africa.

We would like to thank the students of Hunfalvy for their persistent and enthusiastic work. For their social responsibility they get an excellent grade.
