Rigean

As already indicated on our website, Rigean suffers from sickle cell anemia disease (severe blood disease) and is in urgent need of a hospital examination and treatment. We share more information about his state of health continually.

Rigean’s state of health gets well. He got vitamins and it is a big pleasure as he already plays football with other children (on the photo he is just running with red-coloured shoe).
His next medical checkup will become due soon. After that we will report more about his state of health.

The price of the hospital examination and medical treatment is $ 500 that has already been received in the form of donations as a reply to the appeal published on our website. Hereby we wish to thank the sponsors for their generosity!
The additional costs of treatment are not yet foreseen. Doc-tors recommend that Rigean changes his eating habits accord-ing to a reformed system and is regularly medically supervised in order to prevent the recurrence of the illness.
Currently, the food supply and medical care in the orphanage operates on a basic level thanks to the regular monthly sup-port of our sponsors. We would welcome sponsors who could offer support in case of the extreme cases of diseases such as the case of Rigean.
