On the streets, you can clearly see, who goes to school and who doesn’t. How come? Because in
Congo it is obligated to wear school uniform at all schools. In the morning and in the afternoon you
see big gangs of students marching up on the streets, either in their way to the school or to home,
they might have to walk kilometers to finally arrive home after a hard day at school, but it’s already
a privilege there, because not everybody can afford to attend at school. They wear their white shirts
and navy blue pants with pride, which makes it easier to notice that they are students. And not
simple students, they receive badges, with a national flag on it, which makes them even prouder,
because they not only attend at a College, but the Othniel, what is well-known for its high standard
education, also having many foreign visitors all year round.

The reason why students are obligated to wear uniforms is to vanish the social differences and
financial backgrounds of each family, this way everybody looks equal and demolishes the gap that
might be if there will be some students in the class coming from an upper class family, and easily
they could pick on the poorer.

The real problem is, that some students can only afford to sign in at school, but they don’t have
enough money to pay for the uniform. Therefore some students are not be able to start the year.

How can we send charity to the African children, who live more than 8000 kilometers away from
You?

1, Transfer 3000 HUF to our bank account, marking “for the uniforms”

2, To the “Comment” section write “uniformis”, and a name you wish to see on the uniform.

From this amount, we will provide shirts and pants to the children.

3 We will write Your name on the shirt, and a photo will be taken of it, and sent directly to you

4 The project with start in September as soon as our volunteers arrive, they will monitor the process.
